Event type: Licensed"Canadian producer, remixer and multi-instrumentalist Andrew McPherson brings his latest solo album Lefty Singer to the stage. A gentle and sweet contrast to his Juno-nominated world groove project Eccodek, the folk-infused, ambient pop of these songs is anchored by Andrew's arresting baritone and the tasteful instrumentation surrounding it. The influence of his work with Natalie McMaster, Junkhouse, Vieux Farka Touré, Jane Siberry, Stephen Fearing and others can be felt in the craftsmanship of these songs. Dubbed "the master soundscaper' by the Ottawa Citizen expect a lush and poetic performance."
