It’s a verb. It’s an event. And it’s happening at Springwater Conservation Area on July 22rd, July 23rd and 24th 2011.
Combining chefs, musicians, a glamped out campsite, a fishing derby and an onsite farmers’ market
Cooking demos featuring both
Celebrity chefs and award winning musicians
Market on site so all the ingredients can be purchased fresh and local during the weekend
Gourmet competitions
Glamped out site includes pedicures, manicures and product demos
Friday Pork Roast
Sunday Charity breakfast – food bank
Music Line up includes Juno Award Winners Barney Bentall, Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson from Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Emm Gryner, Lynn Miles and Joe Fournier plus more..
Celebrity/Musician and in house CTV Chef Micheal P Clive will be on site to emcee and to coach the performers with their culinary skills and then join them on stage to offer his bass playing abilities.
Culinary Camping fills an emerging tourism need in southwestern Ontario for events that are interactive and multi-faceted, and that promote healthy lifestyles.
The concept of combining camping related activities, great Canadian roots artists and gourmet cuisine creates a new kind of festival experience for tourists.
TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE - NO SERVICE FEES
Campsites can be booked the weekend of event on a first come first serve basis.
