Amity Beach Launches New EP in London, Saturday January 7th Amity Beach will celebrate the release of their self-titled debut EP on Saturday, January 7th at the London Music Club. Since the recent release of the EP, Amity Beach have received attention from James Reaney, Jr of the London Free Press, who says of “ace young Bend band Amity Beach”, that “the melodies and playing are tres good, [and] the lyrics knock me out”. In a review by Scene Magazine, John Sharpe describes the EP as “Fun, catchy tunes that display […] a knack for clever songwriting”. Recorded this past summer at Swamp Songs, the EP embodies the essence and atmosphere of beach life in the band’s hometown of Grand Bend. The evening will also feature music from blues-rock duo Three Forks, and folk-rock group The Sea and City. Music lovers of all ages don’t want to miss this night of young talent.
