Event Details
Event type: All AgesStephen Warner, violinist of the Cleveland Orchestra, with Carolyn Gadiel Warner, piano and violin, make up the Cleveland Duo which has performed in chamber concerts for many years, touring far and wide. James Umble is professor of saxophone at Youngstown State University, winner of many prizes, and one of America's foremost saxophonists. Their program is suitably eclectic, ranging from BACH (arr. of his fabulous concerto for violin, oboe, and strings) to SHOSTAKOVICH (his three duos - heard in a variant on our previous concert!); Plus Yoko SATO, /Dave MORGAN (tango), John ADAMS, and Maurice RAVEL.
