Heidi Sander is an award-winning poet, bestselling author, Pushcart Prize nominee, and screenwriter based in Stratford, Ontario. Her work spans poetry, journals, and artistic collaborations, often exploring themes of grief, loss, hope, and renewal. She is the creator of the Pathways To Poetry™ online program, which helps poets develop their voice, publish their work, and connect with audiences, as well as the Canada Is Our Poem Prize, celebrating Canadian literary talent. Sander is also an active performer and community organizer, hosting events like the Pathways To Poetry Festival and Spoken Groove, which combine poetry with movement, music, and interactive workshops. Her books, including The Forest of My Mind and Plant Your Words Journal, have been featured in literary journals and anthologies, and she continues to mentor and inspire poets across Canada.
