Produced by @InThaKutRadio and @clubabsinthe Dwight Perry is a staple in our community. He is a good man who is just trying to get by in life. After hearing about his story on the news the Hamilton Music community has come together to raise funds to better his life and to keep him off of the streets and avoid panhandling, which will avoid him getting more and more fines that he cannot afford. Dwight has always been respectful to everyone he has interacted with, especially outside of Club Absinthe. We consider him a part of the Absinthe family. It has never been an issue to toss him a couple extra dollars to make his life comfortable, so now we're doing it on a larger scale. I feel like slapping someone of his status with over $20k in tickets for just trying to survive isn't right at all. We have decided to do something about it. ALL proceeds will be donated with a portion going to Dwight himself and the rest going to the Mission Services of Hamilton (www.mission-services.com) And to clarify, this event isn't Anti-All Cops, it is Pro-Dwight and Pro-Justice and Go Hamilton! this show is about a good dude who has been hit with an unfortunate situation. It's important that he knows how much this city cares about him despite recent events that have opened the eyes of many.
