If you love the Stax and Motown style then you can enjoy an evening of live original music of that 60's and 70's era sound. Andre Bisson is a local Hamilton award winning Singer, Songwriter and Arranger that loves to bring everyone a live show that gives that brilliant energy of a big sound with a funky and groovin' beat. There's nothing like that live big ensemble sound! It's all about Rhythm Blues, Funk, Rock, Swing and Soul!

Since 2005, André Bisson has been performing his unique blend of R&B and Soul throughout the US, Canada, England, Wales & Ireland. After graduating from the Applied Music Program at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Bisson went on to record, compose, and arrange seven studio albums. The success of these award-winning albums has led to six international tours, radio airplay, and the chance to open for artists such as Colin James, Jimmie Vaughan, Robben Ford and Steven Page (Barenaked Ladies). André was honored as “Male Vocalist of the Year” at the 2015 Hamilton Blues Awards as well as a nomination for “New Artist of the Year” at the 2017 Maple Blues Awards. In addition, Andre and his band were selected by the Grand River Blues Society to be their representatives at the 2017 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN.

Break
With the influence of Motown, blues, big band, and gospel music, André has composed a repertoire of blues songs that reach orchestrations of 20 pieces. Using a combination of detailed arrangements and top-notch musicians, André has created a truly unique blues album.
