This terrific threesome are Todd Yaniw, piano; Sybille Marquardt, flute; and Peter Stoll, clarinet
All of them are brilliant instrumentalists. Todd has soloed with the K-W Symphony Orchestra; Sybille is on the faculty of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto; Peter is on the Faculty of Music at U of Toronto. All three have extensive solo careers as well as performing in this trio.
Florent Schmitt - Sonatine for flute, clarinet and piano; Alice Ping Ho - The mysterious boot for flute, bass clarinet and piano ; Camille Saint-Saens - Tarantella for flute, clarinet and piano; Kevin Lau - Musica Universalis (new work); Jacques Ibert - Deux Interludes for flute, clarinet and piano; Guillaume Connesson - Techno Parade for flute, clarinet and piano
This is mostly light, highspirited music demonstrating the virtuoso capabilities of these players
