Peter Shackleton is one of Ontario's top clarinetists. He is now Musician-in-Residence at WLU Faculty of Music, as well as Principal Clarinetist of the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra (!) - Previously he was Prioncipal of Orchestra London, and has performed with many other orchestras (including the K-W Symphony.)
Stephanie Mara is on the staff at WLU, and is famed for teamwork with trumpeter Guy Few... Festival and series appearances include the Elora Festival, the Festival of the Sound, the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival, Barrie Colours of Music, and Quad City Arts (USA). Stephanie's broadcast credits encompass Bravo, CBC radio and NPR.
Partial program: Bela Kovacs (l937 - ) Hommage à Bach; Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (1895-1968) Sonata oop. 128; John Williams (1932-) Viktor’s Tale - more to come. These pieces may be unknown to you but they have received enthusiastic responses from local audiences.
