Come see Terri Clark, Harlequin & Honeymoon Suite and Manic Drive light up the SCU Mainstage at Summer in the City in downtown Steinbach on June 15, 16 and 17 ! The gates into the compound open at 6 pm on Friday and Saturday - open all day Sunday. Talented bands from the southeast region will warm up the stage every evening! This is the place to be – with everyone! Enjoy a beautiful summer evening, under the stars, with all your best friends and neighbours in the SCU Mainstage compound....bleachers are on-site, or bring your lawn chairs, if you prefer. The Summer in the City Bar is open to serve you a variety of refreshing beverages....the stage talent is fabulous, and the headlining artists will be right in your own backyard and most memorable for everyone! Canada's Own!....and what an incredible honour to host Terri Clark in our humble city! Hailing from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Terri is a 3-time JUNO Award winner and 8-time CCMA Entertainer of the Year and she has taken home the Female Vocalist of the Year award five times. She still holds the honour of being the only Canadian female artist to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry! And she’s HERE!
Saturday night classic rock has an amazing double billing… Honeymoon Suite and Winnipeg-based Harlequin! This show will start earlier to give concert-goers a full experience with both bands. Honeymoon Suite and Harlequin are staples in Canadian rock; still consistently touring North America and receiving remarkable airplay on rock radio. Two incredible rock legends, one amazing night.
Toronto-based band Manic Drive is headlining at Sunday Worship in the City’s free evening concert. Juno Award winning Manic Drive topped Billboard’s Christian Radio Charts over ten times, and have an impressive touring career with some of CCM’s top artists.
