THE LONDON JAZZ SEXTET
Introducing one of London’s newest jazz groups, “The London Jazz Sextet”! Formed out of members from London’s most popular big band, The Prime Time Big Band, they have come together to form this exciting new group. Their arrangements are an interesting look at some old favourites and popular tunes by Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington and others. The lineup consists of experienced musicians who are accomplished instrumentalists and soloists. Jayne Hysen – piano, David Laidlaw – drums, John Griffiths – bass, Joshua Hung – trumpet, Scott Edwards – alto sax, Bruce Reid – tenor sax. You don’t want to miss this exciting new group!
