QuartetFest is primarily a mini-school for coaching young chamber music ensembles. One of them will be the recipient of the Penderecki Quartet Annual Chamber Music Prize, but the other several (often a half-dozen or more) are excellent as well, and these Young Artists' Concerts give the public a chance to see how they've progressed.
There will be two of these concerts - the second is at 8:00 p.m. this same day.
Artists and repertoire won't be e known until a week or so before this concert.
