Join professional photographer, Genevieve Georget, as she helps you learn how to use your digital camera with more ease and understanding. Covering everything from light to the three main elements of your camera: ISO, shutter speed, and aperture, you will learn the tools that will help you take better photos under various circumstances and use your digital camera beyond the automatic settings. This workshop is designed specifically for beginners who would like to better understand the basic settings of the DLSR. This workshop is NOT suitable for those using smartphones or point and shoot cameras. Participants should bring a pen, paper, their DSLR and any questions that they’ve been dying to ask about photography!

Genevieve Georget is a full-time writer and photographer living in Ottawa, Canada, with her husband and two children. Her first memoir, Her Own Wild Winds, was released in September of 2016, and her work can also be seen in publications such as The Good Mother Project, Oprah.com, Love What Matters, and Her View from Home. She is currently utilizing her skills as a writer, editor, and writing coach with Round Table Companies to help others bring their own beautiful stories to life.
