Join author and storyteller, Genevieve Georget, as she walks you through taking those first ideas that have been lingering in your imagination and helps you to start putting them on paper. This workshop is designed for all new writers who are wondering where to get started, whether you are just learning how to journal for the first time or hoping to dive into a full manuscript in the future. We will cover things from creating a habit of writing, various ways to get started, maintaining motivation, connecting with your reader, and other tools to help bring your story to reality. This workshop will also include time to write and share with other participants, as well as plenty of time for Q&As.

Genevieve Georget is a full-time writer and photographer living in Ottawa, Canada, with her husband and two children. Her first memoir, Her Own Wild Winds, was released in September of 2016, and her work can also be seen in publications such as The Good Mother Project, Oprah.com, Love What Matters, and Her View from Home. She is currently utilizing her skills as a writer, editor, and writing coach with Round Table Companies to help others bring their own beautiful stories to life.
