You read that right! We are hosting an Office trivia night...
How many times have you seen all nine seasons of The Office?
Are you the black belt of all things Dwight Schrute? Do you think you have what it takes to be a part of the Dunder Mifflin team? Will you be a hero like Michael Scarn? Or will you be like Creed and not pass the quality assurance test? Check your knowledge against others in this team versus team trivia night with tons of prizes up for grabs!
Teams can be formed in groups of 1 - 6 people... To register your team please purchase ONE (1) ticket from Ticketscene for your team (1 - 6 people). Please DO NOT purchase a ticket for each team member (a ticket will grant entry to your entire team).
Spectators are welcome but helping teams is a violation of our rules and will result in expulsion from the venue.
The game will consist of 3 rounds of 20 questions and a final round of 10 questions. Each round will involve increasingly difficult questions. Plus, a sudden death tie breaker if required.
After each question is given, each team will record their answers on the provided whiteboards.
After the 60 seconds is up, all the teams will display their answers. Every team that has the correct answer written on their whiteboard will be granted the points for that question.
Questions in round one will be worth 3 points, questions in round two will be worth 5 points, questions in round three will be worth 7 points and questions in the final round will be worth 10 points.
The team that has collected the most points at the end of all four rounds will be declared the winner.
Sudden Death Tie Breaker...
If at the end of four rounds two or more teams have an equivalent amount of points a sudden death round will begin.
Each team that is tied for first place will be asked the same question and given 60 seconds to record their answers on their whiteboards.
Once the 60 seconds Is up the teams will display their answers. Each team with correct answers will move on to the next question and teams with incorrect answers will be eliminated.
This will continue until there is only one team remaining
If all the remaining teams answer a question in sudden death incorrectly then they all move on to the next question.
1. Absolutely no outside help will be allowed (Ie. Cell Phones, Ipads, Phone calls etc.) cheating will result in disqualification from the competition
2. Answers must be legible but DO NOT have to be spelt correctly
3. All final rulings and discrepancies will be resolved by the host of the night
4. Each question will be read aloud twice, then teams will be given 60 seconds to wright down their answers
Cutoff is Thursday, December 5, 2019 5:29 pm EST unless it sells out earlier.
