Event type: All Ages
We're making some changes to how we do Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival this year.
For the first time, we won't be gathering at the Fiddle Grounds on the third weekend of July, but we WILL be gathering ONLINE for a 24 hour Chaisson Family and Friends jam!
From 7PM ADT Friday 17th July to 7PM ADT Saturday 18th July, the musicians taking part will be following the current rules for gatherings/social distancing while we keep the music going.
Tickets proceeds for the non-stop online show will go towards the maintenance of the Field and the Souris Foodbank program.
This is an ONLINE show - you will NOT attend a concert at the Field. You will need your own device, a strong and reliable data/wifi/internet connection and to have registered for a free ‘Zoom’ account to use your ticket. Please do think of this as ‘coming to the festival’ when you’re buying your tickets and purchase the appropriate number of tickets for the people who’ll be enjoying the stream with you! We’ve got individual, date night and household tickets available!
How it works:
1. Buy your tickets
2. Register for your free Zoom account here https://zoom.us/
3. You will receive an email from us with your private link to the livestreaming show 24 hours before the livestream starts
4. You will use that private link to enter Zoom from 7PM ADT 17th July - 7PM ADT 18th July. you can watch a jam featuring the Chaisson Family and Friends live from the Ceilidh Barn. Think of it as 24 hour access to the Tuning Room. You will also be able to 'leave the show' and re-enter during the 24-hour period.
5. The live-stream will be active at the above times, and then there will be a short turnaround where we make the stream available for a further 24 hours.
The 44th Annual Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival.
