ZACHARY LUCKY:
Award-nominated songwriter Zachary Lucky is an unapologetically old-school country, armed with a husky, baritone voice - He carries himself like a younger Richard Buckner or a heartier Doug Paisley and often receives comparisons to songwriters such as Gordon Lightfoot and Kris Kristofferson. He sings of Canadian places and people as knowingly as he might Townes Van Zandt or the Rio Grande. It's a relatable show on many levels and conjures universal feelings that have passed through our collective timelines. Already hailed as a master storyteller by outlets ranging from No Depression to The Globe and Mail, Zachary returns this fall with a new collection of traditional folk and country songs called “Songs For Hard Times”. Out November 2021.
BROTHERS WILDE:
Turn the lights on, fire up the crowd...
With a vision and a song, brothers Nolan and Ethan Wilde are set out to make their mark in the music industry. Growing up in Kettle & Stony Point first nation, Nolan and Ethan were raised on being humble, working for what they got, and a wide variety of good music. Playing a unique style of country-fried roots rock for the past 4 years, the brothers have already found their calling after winning the 2019 NACMAI Country Duo of the Year in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. In 2022 the brothers were nominated for the 2022 Forest City London World Music Group of the year. Playing prestigious shows and festivals such as the 2021 CCMA Awards Launch Party, Bluewater Borderfest, Westfest, Tkaronto Music Festival, and the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival, the boys share their original songs such as Roots, Good Day, Waiting for you, and many more that best describe who they are and where they come from.
Cutoff is Friday, February 10, 2023 7:59 pm EST unless it sells out earlier.
