The Lafayette Quartet has the distinction of having only its original members throughout their career - which has been a sparkling one, with many recordings, and concerts in many parts of the world. They are also a very charming group! But mainly, of course, they are one of the great quartets of the world, let alone Canada.The Lafayette is sustained not only by their mastery of their instruments and their insight into music, but also by those wonderful personalities.
