The second half of the concert will be what the Miro Quartet calls "À la Carte". In the intermission the audience chooses what the quartet will play based on votes from a list of pieces. Chamber Music Hamilton presented this as a pilot program when the Miro Quartet first came up with it about 14 years ago. Other presenters found it difficult to administrate so the quartet dropped it but it was very popular at our series, and an interesting way to determine the flavour of the month, the kind of music people have appetite for at that time. We are luckly the Miro Quartet is willing to do this for us.
