SUE NEWBERRY & THE LAW // VANCAMP // CAITLIN CURRIE
$15 Advance // $25 Door
Peterborough/Toronto-based indie pop band SUE NEWBERRY & THE LAW make powerful, sharp-witted and upbeat pop rock. Their latest record “The Odds” is one “you’ll probably want to listen to over and over” (blogTO). Newberry & her band prove that catchy pop and danceability can go in hand with lyrical depth and strong musicianship.
VANCAMP crafts introspective, energetic, and earnest indie folk. The project began in 2021, when singer/songwriter Calvin Bakelaar began channeling his emotions into songs that blend folk storytelling with the edge of indie rock. Since then, VANCAMP has grown into something bigger—fun, experimental, and full of life. VANCAMP was named the Peterborough Folk Festival Emerging Artist of the Year in 2024, and you can stream the music anywhere or catch a show to experience it live.
CAITLIN CURRIE is a folk-pop singer-songwriter in Ptbo/Nogo. She started writing songs at 13 and has been performing and releasing music ever since. Known for her soulful lyrics, unique storyteller voice, and “sad-girl-indie vibes”, you can find her 3 full-length albums wherever you stream music.
