"Boing Boing Zoom Zoom, "Southern Ontario's premier Jaw Harp / Harmonica Duo", are coming to Peterborough, bringing you an evening of folk dance music from Europe. Traditional music turned into a party with overtone jaw harp melodies and harmonica renditions of old French fiddle tunes. There will be an intro to Balfolk Dance Workshop from 7:30-8:30pm, after which point the duo will perform their repertoire and you can participate by dancing the dances that go with the tunes, or listening comfortably from your chair. Expect a variety of social folk dances: some partner dances, some group dances, some mixer dances. All easy and fun! Sadleir House will be running a bar. This is an all ages event."
