Following the success of the first two Old East Hill walks, please join us for another stroll, principally along George and John Streets, to view some more of the magnificant mansions built in this leafy area in the late 19th century. The commentary will include both architectural notes and stories about some of each house's inhabitants over the years.
We will begin at the corner of George Street and Queen Street. Cars can be parked on the side of either street. At the end of the walking tour (around 4 pm) attendees will be invited to a local hostelry for refreshment.
