Josh Odair

Josh Odair is a Canadian singer-songwriter creating raw, blues-influenced music that sticks with you long after the last note fades. With a sound rooted in folk, alt-country, and late-night rock, his songs carry a weathered, timeless feel. They’re built on soul, grit, and the kind of storytelling passed down through generations.

Born in Blind River, Ontario and now based in Sudbury, Josh grew up surrounded by music. His father and grandfather, both piano players, instilled a love for songs that tell a real story. After a break from music, Josh returned in late 2024 with a quiet intensity, releasing new singles and performing locally.

 Since then, his music has been featured on CBC Radio, 91.3 CJTR in Regina (The Philp Side), Radio Western in London, and on a podcast with Radio Notes in Australia. He’s also been recognized by Exclaim! Magazine, Riff Magazine, and Sudbury.com, with listeners connecting to the raw honesty in his lyrics and delivery.
