Join author Chris Paul (Rainbows) Farias in store on Tuesday, August 11th from 12pm-4pm to celebrate their book Guinea Pigs Don't Wear Pants, with a storytime scheduled for 1pm!
"Chris’s debut picture book, Guinea Pigs Don’t Wear Pants (Rebel Goose Books, 2026), is a joyful celebration of gender expression, individuality, and the freedom to be yourself. Written and illustrated by Chris, it introduces young readers to a whimsical world of animals breaking free from expectations—offering the kind of story Chris longed for as a child. With early praise from icons like Rosie O’Donnell and Paris Hilton, the book is already sparking excitement and conversations about self-expression and belonging."
And don't forget to take part in a extra special rainbow guinea pig pom pom craft! No guinea pig will be crafted the same - each unique in its own way.
Chris will be in-store with us from 12-4pm. Craft and storytime to take place between 12-2pm.
Recommended ages 3+
Cutoff is Tuesday, August 11, 2026 10:44 am EDT unless it sells out earlier.
