PUSHED is a two-act play which explores themes of prison abolition, colonialism, state violence, sexual violence, and the importance of friendship and community for marginalized people.
On a night out with friends Clara, a young Mi’kmaw woman is charged and convicted with second-degree murder - a crime she does not believe she is guilty of. Now in prison, Clara is in danger and Nat, Bou and Kal attempt to break Clara out before it’s too late.
