Nancy Woods, longtime volunteer at Macaulay Heritage Park, will use the historic hearth at Macaulay House to demonstrate 19th century cooking methods - specifically those using cast iron cookware. Nancy will showcase a number of recipes, and ticket holders will be able to sample the finished products as your ticket includes a tasting package delivered to your door! Participants will also receive a collection of heritage recipes to try out at home.
This will be a pre-recorded presentation, though Nancy will be on hand during the Zoom event to answer questions.
For those who select the option "Presentation + Tasting Package", samples of Nancy's recipes and a collection of heritage recipes will be delivered to them (must reside within the Quinte region) on the day of the presentation.
A zoom link will be sent to participants within 24 hours of the presentation.
