Fiddlestix Returns and when better than Oktoberfest week.
After a full house on St. Paddys day, the band cannot wait to get back to Delhi!
Performing high energy, fun for all ages concerts for nearly fifteen years, Steve Bowen, Yamaha endorsed electric fiddler, and his award winning team blend the energy of a Rock Concert with Celtic, Country and Folk music creating what has been dubbed 'FIDDLE-ROCK' by Y108 Rocks Hamilton.
With Bowen's unparalleled violin skills, Steve and his ultra-talented team are defining Fiddlestix as one of the top Canadian bands due to their signature sound, instrumental layering, multiple lead vocal tradeoffs, and incredible four-part harmonies, flexing genres and blending styles seamlessly.
The Readers Choice Diamond Awards were recently presented to the team for Best Entertainment 2022 Milton/Halton, 2021 Milton/Halton, and 2021 Oakville and Milton/Halton 2020.
Fiddlestix is active on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and Youtube, where their video’s have been viewed nearly a quarter million times.
During the band's career, they have performed everything from heralding the arrival of the Olympic Torch with Gord Downie (Tragically Hip) to performing for the Canadian and American Ambassadors in South East Asia.
Most recently Fiddlestix performed a one month tour throughout Norway where they have been requested back.
The team has shared the stage with some of Canada's finest musicians, including Big Sugar, Leahy, Gord Downie, Great Big Sea, Jim Cuddy, The Irish Rovers, Honeymoon Suite and many more.
Fiddlestix headlined the CNE East Coast Kitchen Party 2018 and 2019 and recently performed an astonishing run of 36 shows over 5 days for the Celtic Festival at the CNE - TheEX 2022.
A Fiddlestix Show will light up any party, venue, or event! With their energizing original songs and a blend of popular songs and famous classics, the band masterfully shapes their sets based on the audiences they are playing for.
Fiddlestix is currently preparing to head back into the studio to begin recording their next album ‘More Of Our Best’, a sequel to their previous full length CD release ‘Some Of Our Best’, which included original music and cover versions of some of the band's most requested songs.
Cutoff is Friday, September 29, 2023 4:59 pm EDT unless it sells out earlier.
