Kincardine Summer Music Festival presents Orchestra Grey Bruce and the Saugeen County Chorus, celebrating their 23rd Anniversary performance of Handel's "Messiah".
We are so excited to welcome Special Guest Conductor Mark Vuorinen, a well-known Canadian conductor, who is the artistic director and conductor of the Grand Philharmonic Choir, and the director of the Elora Festival Singers, who have established an international reputation as one of Canada’s finest professional choirs.
Matthew Allard is our Principal Choir Director and Organist. After finishing his Masters degree at Oxford University Matthew decided to pursue teaching, and is presently Organist and Choir Director at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Owen Sound.
Vocal soloists are Katy Clark, soprano; Gena van Oosten, alto; Matt Chittick, tenor and Johnathon Kirby, bass. Concertmaster Paul Earle will lead the Orchestra, supporting a 60-member Chorus.
This is going to be great! Don't miss this evening, guaranteed to lift your spirits!
