Calling all Sweet transsexuals from transsexual Transylvania

It’s almost here! Our Halloween screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Tickets are available for FREE on https://www.ticketscene.ca/events/42017/ With two screenings to pick from
Saturday October 29th 3pm and 7pm.

In the true spirit of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, we are encouraging everyone to dress as
their favorite character from the movie, don’t have a favorite character? You can always pick
one, there are no wrong choices, Janet, Brad, Dr Frank N Furter, Riff Raff, Eddie, Dr Everett, to
name just a few.

There will be prizes for the best costume, and for the most enthusiastic audience partici... (3
second pause) ...pation.

We have included a list of props to bring (see below) so you can join in and take part, along
with instructions on when to use them, and of course how to do the Time Warp.

This is a “Pay What You Can” event, if you can afford it, please make a donation at the door. All
money will go to support the Stratford Pride Community Center SPCC, and our future
programming.

Halloween themed non alcoholic drinks and light refreshments will be served after the movie,
prizes awarded, so everyone can socialize, and share their own favorite Rocky Horror Picture
Show stories.

Allowed props (please bring your own, we will have a limited number for those that can’t)

Newspapers: When Brad and Janet are caught in the storm, Janet covers her head with a newspaper The
"Plain Dealer". At this point, you should likewise cover your head.

Flashlights/Cellphones During the "There's a light" verse of "Over at the Frankenstein Place, "you
should light up the theater with flashlights,cellphones. NO NAKED FLAMES

Rubber gloves: During and after the creation speech, Frank snaps his rubber gloves three times. Later,
Magenta pulls these gloves off his hands. You should snap your gloves in sync each time to create a
fantastic sound effect

Noisemakers: At the end of the creation speech, the Transylvanians respond with applause and
noisemakers. You should do the same

Party hat: At the dinner table, when Frank puts on a party hat, you should do the same

Bell (there’s an app for that): During the song “Planet Schmanet Janet” ring the bell when Frank sings
“Did you hear a bell ring?

No rice, confetti, water pistols, toilet paper, cards, toast, hot dogs, prunes, and NO NAKED FLAMES OF
ANY KIND

How to do the time warp
1. (It's just a) JUMP TO THE LEFT, with hands UP.
2. A STEP TO THE RIGHT (Time-Warper ANNETTE FUNICELLO suggests a very WIDE step.)
3.* (With your hands on your HIPS) YOU BRING YOUR KNEES IN TIGHT.
4. (Then) THE PELVIC THRUST (if repeated FIVE times, it nearly drives you insa-a-ane)
5. HIPSWIVEL (if not driven insa-a-ane by step four)
6. LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN
