Prince Edward Community Theatre Presents: The Sweet Delilah Swim Club
This beautifully written, taut play by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten tells the story of five members of a championship women’s swim team who gather each year at the same beach cottage, the Sweet Delilah on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, to catch up, have fun and stick their noses in each other’s lives. The ride through those decades is a fabulous journey as their lives and careers evolve, husbands come and go, or linger, health issues begin to surface and their friendships overcome the usual challenges related to jealousy, misunderstandings and romances.
