DAVID ROSE was Principle Violist of the KW Symphony, before which he played in the ?Vancouver Symphony. He was hugely well liked here until he moved to the State Univerwsity of New York's Music Faculty at Fredonia. He was also guest artist at a previous concert of ours this year.
The PROGRAM for this concert is a sort of addendum to he PDSQ's Beethoven Quartets series. On this program we will have BOTH of the String qouintets of Beethoven (Op. 29 and Op. 104) Op.104 is a re-setting of a Beethoven work. Op. 1 #3 (the jost popular of the string trios of Beethoven. Op. 29 is, however, oriiginally a quintet. Each of these has the scoring of string quartet plus extra viola.
