Five outstanding players perform three piano quintets with bass. Two are not well known:by Hummel and Dussek; and one is maybe the best-known quintet of any kind in the classical liteeratoure: FRANz SCHUBERT'S "TROUT" quintet. The other pieces are Hu9mmel'''s

Jan Ladislav Dussek (1760-1812), piano quintet in Eb minor. op. 87
and Franz Schubert (1797-1828), quintet “The Trout”

Performances of The Trout are a bit fewer than one might expect because of the required bass line. No problem for the Magisterra players, however. Enjoy!
