About Lance Dobinson:
As a young boy, Lance spent hours listening to his grandmother’s recordings of “Elvis Presley” and hearing stories of the King. It wasn’t until the age of 12, Lance took to the stage as an “Elvis Tribute Artist” in his hometown of Collingwood, Ontario. Now, how could anyone ask for anything more growing up and admiring Elvis’ music and having the world’s largest and most exciting Elvis Festival right in your backyard! Little did Lance know, that this unique experience in his life, would lead him to international competitions and the start of a career in music.
With Lance Dobinson’s tribute to “Elvis Presley”, this allowed Lance to perform across Canada, the United States, Japan and have the honour and privilege of performing alongside with “Country Music Hall Of Fame Inductees,” “The Jordanaires” and the “Stamps Quartet,” who accompanied “Elvis Presley” throughout his career.
Throughout the last several years, Lance has also enjoyed being a part in “Country Music.” In fact, being chosen as the “North Of Nashville Star” Competitor in Barrie, gave Lance the privilege of sharing the stage with Country Artist, “Aaron Pritchett.” Within that, Lance also had the experience of sharing the stage with Country Artist, “Jamie Warren” at the “Wounded Warriors Foundation Concert,” held at the Gayety Theatre in Collingwood.
With having some success in 2019 with his song, “But It Ain’t That Easy,” along with “That Was All Part Of Me” in 2021, Lance’s most recent single, “No One Else,” paints a picture that shares his story about very close neighbours he once knew. As Lance shares his memories with you in these meaningful lyrics, he feels confident that some of you may be able to relate as well.
These fulfilling experiences on and off stage and many other great experiences for Lance, has led Lance to become who he is today!
