Catch 22 (East Brunswick Township, New Jersey)

As pioneers of the ska/punk scene, Catch 22 has built a reputation for smoking live shows and musical innovation. The band formed in the fall of 1996 when founding members Chris Greer, Ryan Eldred and Kevin Gunther set out to play a genre of music that quickly became a huge national trend.

Over 200,000 album sales later, Catch 22 are still one of the most consistent live bands on the road today, filling venues worldwide and helping launch the careers of many others.

Thunder Queens

Thunder Queens have been making sludgy feminist-driven songs since they were 9 & 10 years old, tearing up London, Ontario stages with music reminiscent of bands like Sleater Kinney, Sheer Mag, The Strokes & Starcrawler. Lola Hayman (drums, vocals) & Violet Bruneel (guitar, vocals) became friends while searching for loonies under the pinball machines at Call The Office. In between eating ice cream cones and wreaking havoc on their skateboards, they quickly decided to form Thunder Queens. With their first EP released on Year Right Records in 2020, this two-piece grunge punk band have spent their ‘tween years opening for prominent bands like Status/ Non-Status, Ian Blurton, Red Arms, Metz, and Chastity. They have made a lasting impression on the Canadian music scene, nominated for Best Punk Band in the 2020 and 2021 FCLMAs. Their debut record will be released in Winter 2023.
