Award winning artist, Tim Hicks set to play landmark theatre, Capitol 33 on Wednesday,
November 15, 2023. Intimate, up close, and personal, Tim Hicks is making Norfolk County one
of the stops on the Campfire Troubadour Tour this year at Norfolks’ coolest new music venue.
Tim hicks continues to lead the way with his sure-footed everyman approach – expanding the
song writing and style that has helped define today’s country music. Delivering track after track
with unparalleled quality and consistency, Hicks’ ascent as an elite chart-topping act since
making his country label debut in 2013 is undeniable. CCMA award winner and double
platinum selling singles are just a few of Hicks’ accolades.
“Presenting great musical acts in this venue, which was originally a cinema and vaudeville
house, always feels right, like we’ve come full circle.” said Capitol 33 and Black Creek Music
owner Jordan Gawley. “Norfolk County loves country music and it just made sense to make
sure Tim Hicks was our first large country performance. Not only did Tim Hicks and I grow up
together just an hour and a half down the road from Norfolk County in Niagara Falls, but we
attended high school together and even shared the same music teacher year after year” says
Jordan Gawley. “It will be an honour to have Tim play hit after hit on our stage”, he continued.
After headlining this years Boots and Hearts Country Festival in August, Tim Hicks welcomes
you to a campfire experience as intimate as it gets, in this 200 seat venue on November 18th.
Showtime is 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 15th, with doors opening at 7:00 PM. Dayna Reid is
set to open the show and warm up the stage with her powerhouse vocals, one-of-a-kind lyrics
and a tenacious attitude making her an emerging artist you must see.
Tickets will become available at 10 AM sharp, Thursday Sept 14th at ticketscene.ca/capitol33. This is
an all-ages, licensed event, with General Admission tickets priced at $65+hst. Arrive early for
the best seat.
