They are widely considered one of the most distinguished duos touring Canada’s chamber music scene today. Together, piano virtuosos Susan Grace and Steven Beck form Quattro Mani. This pair of incredible dynamos have captivated audiences around the world since 2013. Quattro Mani’s music signature is a chemistry felt at once by listeners, as they face off over their pianos. Nearly palpable in its intensity, the combined mastery of their counterpoint piano is infused into each piece performed at their fingertips. 

The artistry commanded by Susan and Steven when performing live brings a whole new meaning to a “grand piano” experience. Their classical and contemporary repertoire stretches beyond their go-to composers: Beethoven, Chopin, Crumb, Lansky, Lerdahl, Mozart, Novacek, Saint-Saens, and Wolpe. Critics praise Quattro Mani for their exceptional skills, versatility, and fearless renditions. 

Susan is an acclaimed, award-winning world performer, Grammy nominee, and an associate chair of music at Colorado College. Steven is an exemplary pianist, both as a soloist and with world-class symphonies. He lives in New York, is part of the faculty with University of Massachusetts, and is an alumnus of the Julliard School of Music.
