Kingston's Audrey Cummings has carved a place for herself in the wide world of genre cinema thanks to her bold, exciting and sometimes grisly stories of characters in desperate circumstances and her latest certainly delivers on that front. Living on an isolated homestead in 1876, the widow Pandora (Heather Graham) and her headstrong daughter Hester (Brielle Robillard) find themselves in the middle of a worsening predicament after they reluctantly give refuge to Calhoun (Corin Nemec), a wounded bank robber who's being hunted by the gang he just betrayed. The fact that Pandora proves to be a very tenacious adversary to the outlaws is just one reason why fans of westerns will savour Cummings' hard-edged tale of six-gun justice.
