Not sure how to jumpstart your career? REEL CANADA will sit down with various emerging filmmakers and professionals for a conversation about breaking into the Canadian film industry, introducing audiences to multiple unions and different professional possibilities. This session is catered to individuals who are starting their career.
This panel is presented in partnership with REEL CANADA’s Reel Opportunities program.
REEL CANADA is an education-focused film organization, with all programmes completely free of charge. Programming includes Our Films in Our Schools, Welcome to Canada, CanFilmDay, Reel Opportunities, and more. The Reel Opportunities program is aimed at helping young people understand how to start a career in film. This includes workshops and resources that communicate what’s involved in filmmaking from start to finish, in order to help students find their place in Canada’s exciting film and TV industry.
