This evening is sure to be packed with with good music, good times and good people. With some of Toronto's hottest up and coming bands, the msuic is almost guaranteed to be better than whatever you are hearing on the radio. Put it this way: if Beethoven and a lightning storm had a child and it grew up binge-listening to vinyl in a smoky jazz lounge before joining a spaceship rock tour, would still only be the opening act "The Anytimers". And it's only just beginning, Freinds from Work, put it this way: This band is like if Orpheus plugged his lyre into a stack of amps, summoned Hades and Poseidon for a bass battle, and turned the Underworld into a sold-out arena. And Percocet Blonde, put it this way: this band is like a gang of time-traveling outlaws who stole the best sounds from every decade, fused them into a a wave of sonic and auditory pleasures, and came to kick them into your ears and chew bubble gum—and they are fresh out of bubble gum.
