In this show, the Choir will explore the folk tunes & traditional songs of the pioneers and early settlers. This is the music that farmers, cowboys and homesteaders sang while building a nation and settling a continent; songs that eventually evolved into the powerhouse entertainment industry known today as country music. In addition, we have selected several contemporary pieces that were inspired from the early days of expansion across the North American continent. You’ll laugh, stomp your feet and feel old time hospitality, while meeting several fun and characters: noble heroes and nefarious villains as our story about the Wild West unfolds. Concert goers will be treated to a scrumptious three course meal, beautifully prepared for you by the legendary culinary staff at the historic Elm Hurst Inn and Spa. The matinee performance omits the three-course meal and, instead, includes coffee, tea and the delicious Dessert Buffet. Each concert show includes a Silent Auction containing many useful and valuable items such as original art and crafts, gift items and quality services. Seating is limited, so get your tickets now! As a courtesy, a cash bar is available by the Elm Hurst staff.
