About Great Northern Exhibition Fairgrounds

The Great Northern Exhibition (GNE) Fairgrounds, located at 2220 Fairgrounds Road North in Stayner, Ontario, is home to one of Simcoe County's most beloved annual events.

Hosted by the Collingwood Agricultural Society, the GNE celebrates local agriculture, heritage, and community with a lively, three-day fall fair. In 2025, the event will run from September 19 to 21, offering a wide range of attractions for visitors of all ages.

The fair features monster truck shows, demolition derbies, tractor pulls, live entertainment, a petting zoo, pony rides, and agricultural displays, making it a go-to destination for families, farmers, and festivalgoers. With competitions, exhibits, local food vendors, and artisan markets, the GNE blends rural traditions with modern fun. The fairgrounds also provide ample space for displays and activities, and admission is available online or at the gate, with free parking available on-site.

Throughout the year, the GNE Fairgrounds serve as a venue for community events, facility rentals, and fundraisers, reinforcing its role as a hub for connection and celebration in Clearview Township.

With a rich history and a strong community spirit, the Great Northern Exhibition continues to be a signature event in the region, one that brings people together with "Blue Jeans & Country Dreams."
